The Beacon Academy in Town & Country

townandcountry

If you want to read more about the Beacon Academy, please pick up the August 2010 issue of Town & Country Philippines. It’s a well-written, accurate and informative article written by Pierre Calasanz, more content than glitz, completely in sync with the school and what we are trying to achieve. It is also the first time many of the trustees (hermits and photo-shy individuals that they are) have allowed photos of themselves to be published. The things you have to do when you need to raise endowments and publicize a new venture, even a school. :) If you happen to have recently won a lotto jackpot, dug up a cache of pre-historic gold in your backyard or suddenly inherited great wealth from legitimate or dubious provenance and are itching to have a building or smaller facility named after you or a loved one, please email me and that can be arranged. I kid you not. Thank you Pierre, and thank you Town & Country for putting the Beacon Academy on your cover and in your magazine this August.

  1. Academic or popular media, its good to be published. All the best. May you and your colleagues find success in the accomplishment of your students.

  2. congrats MM, once i win the Lotto, you will be the first person that i will contact…God bless you more!

  3. Why not persuade the author of the fried bottle gourd recipe of the preceding post to donate some sum and you can end up with both an alliterative and internally rhymed name, Wynn Wynn Ong Wing.

  4. Yes, that was quite clever Footloose!

On Wynn Wynn Ong: she does make and sell fabulous jewelry and is married to a banker, so the idea might not be too far-fetched….LOL
