You just have to watch this video sent to Mrs. MM by PJ, it’s just too funny. But also so real. I couldn’t stop laughing, and frankly, think they should do this here as well. As long as there is an equal effort to put up public toilets.

YES! We should have this here.
And Nike’s “Just do it” does not mean you can do it anywhere! hahahaha
The last time I was in Manila, we were taking a taxi and the driver suddenly stopped and said, “I’ll be right back.” We had no idea what was going on until we saw him walk up to a wall and start peeing. I should have taken a picture, but we were too shocked to think about such things! And in case you’re wondering, yes, he left the meter running, and no, he did not wash his hands (or use any kind of disinfectant!).
Hahaha! That was funny….but something that really needs to be applied in the Philippines! I really get pissed when I see idiots on the street just turning their backs to pee!
We once had a driver go out of his bus and pee on his own bus in the midst of traffic!! The passengers on that side were sure to have a free show..hehe
@Rona Y: True, it bothers me more that they don’t wash their hands after doing it.
My father discouraged us from buying “taho” or “dirty ice cream” for this reason…
hahaha…as my mom would say, “merese!”
Hahahahaha!!!
I agree, MM. But PI should take it up another notch. How about adding some dye to make them stand out even further… ( evil grin ).
Good start to the new year, that was a good laugh MM, I wish I could drive down the street with that vehicle, I know a few scooter drivers in my neighborhood that could use that water..lol
Aversion therapy for the pissers!
The video got me to thinking. Yes it is funny, and then it also isn’t as peeing in public places has always pissed me off! So I did a little research on what makes people laugh.
In Tanzania, in the early 60’s, a strange epidemic of giggling among girls in a boarding school was observed. “It started with three and soon the uncontrollable cackles spread to their classmates. The laughing attacks lasted from a few minutes up to a few hours; one poor girl reportedly experienced symptoms for 16 straight days. Victims couldn’t focus on their schoolwork, and would lash out if others tried to restrain them.”
Because the affliction was so disruptive, the school finally closed down, but the students took the spells of laughter to their villages. This became known as omuneepo, a Swahili term for laughing disease. There was nothing funny at all but “It’s a form of complaint.”deemed a local psychiatrist of the mysterious laughter. “They had no alternative form of expression.” Apparently “the religious boarding school where the laughter began was marked by strict rules, windowless dorms, and devilishly uncomfortably chairs designed to promote correct posture. Investigators found similar conditions at other locations where the omuneepo later erupted: Serious overcrowding, poor food quality.”
“Laughter, is more than just a response to humor. It’s a primal human tool, one of the building blocks of society. It taps into the core of what we are as social creatures, expressing from one person to another what often cannot be said in any other way: either that everything is in good fun—or, as in the case of omuneepo, that something is very, very wrong.”

In the video situation as it is in ‘Pins, there are not enough public toilets where people can relieve themselves. The pissing tank is a creative solution which also found its funny for the lot of us. Wish there were more public toilets or we may resort to hosing pissers as well!!!
Sorry MM, my rant for the day! Happy New Year!!
Boy, are they pissed!!!
‘The Clean Indian’ is an anonymous activist group operating in Mumbai. The “Pissing Tanker” is a reality on Mumbai streets. The video is hilarious and could work in so many cities.
“Excuse me sir, that’s against the law”
“No, its against the wall”
We should really have this here!
I would gladly donate a pissing tanker if anyone”s willing to hose down pissing idiots! Shouldn’t we pass this video on to the MMDA Chairman?
