Simply post details of the title of the event, dates, location and a brief description here rather than emailing me privately as I don’t typically write these types of posts regularly. Thanks!

Quezon Memorial can now host these events? Wow. I’ve been away far too long. Thank you Marketman.
Hello, I’d like to know where I can buy Green Beets? Hope you can help me. Thank you.
Mars, I have never heard of green beets, as in the beet is green in color. Did you mean beet greens? Of the leaf tops of beets? You can sometimes get those from Gejo Jimenez of Kitchen Herbs Farms, I have several posts on them in the archives. Or try other weekend markets that sell beets, though they generally have pretty old greens with them.
just came from the orchid show this afternoon. beautiful orchids and other fruit trees. all the plants put my slr to good use. its a shame they haven’t been able to maintain qc circle better, there was litter everywhere.
were there any tillandsias sold in the orchid show? i wonder if anyone knows where good tillandsias (small varieties, approximately 2-3inches at maximum height) are being sold..aside from manila seedling.
Hi! I would take this generous offer to promote a gardening event that may be of interest to some of your readers. The details…
Book Launch and Lecture on Tillandsias by Mr. Paul T. Isley III
Written by Paul T. Isley III, he has worked long and hard to bring forth a new treatment that will update much of what has been going on with Tillandsias in the past 22 years since the first book was published. The book has a total of 310 pages. It is the most comprehensive book ever written on tillandsia. A must-have for tillandsia collectors. Available in the Philippines by April 11, 2011. Get a chance to have your copy signed by the author himself, during his lecture on April 17, 2011, 3 to 5pm at the Puentespina Orchids outlet at Manila Seedling Bank, EDSA corner Quezon Avenue, Quezon City.
Tillandsia pups and the book are also being sold (the book at PhP 6,000, much cheaper than if you order through Amazon+shipping+customs) at the Puentespina outlet. You may reserve a copy by sending an email to sales@orchid.ph
