Just a quick message for regular visitors/commenters. The site’s security “upgrade” is now installed and supposed to be working just fine. I just want to ask regular readers, particularly those having problems earlier this week (mostly on internet explorer) and for the past few weeks, if they are still experiencing anything odd when they try to access the marketmanila.com? Please clear your cache and cookies and log onto marketmanila.com again. I would appreciate it if you left me a message with the type of issue you are facing (redirected to porn, pages missing, your virus checkers screaming, pole dancers gyrating as you search the archives, etc.). Also, the contact form has been changed and apparently you can now email me again… Thanks for your patience.

No more warnings from Norton that they have blocked an attempted attack. A-Ok again. Thank you.
I use firefox and have never had an issue – I never use Internet Explorer – way too many hacks.
As annoying as it is, I guess you should take it as a compliment that you are hack worthy!
Thank God I never had any of the problems encountered by others. I changed my OS from explorer to ubuntu months ago. With you being busy with Zubuchon, will mm family still make the annual gingerbread house? i hope you can still find time for that ;)

I use IE 9 to access your site. During the last month I got re-directed to porn sites and the feed stopped working as well.
Since your upgrade everything works fine. Keep it up.

Hello. Your home page still features older posts, not the most recent. I need to go to the archives link. I am using iOS5 on the iPad, Safari.
I use 3 types of browsers and only had this problem with IE. Firefox and Chrome are okay. With IE, the home page featured old posts.This was as recent as 2 days ago.
I use Firefox and never had a problem with your site. I’m thinking of shifting to Google chrome.
I use IE as a default browser and last week I am always redirected to porn related sites and I always visit your site during office hours :). Imagine my shock hehe. I don’t get that problems anymore.

It’s working fine now with IE; went through some weeks when accessing your site through IE9 saw me being redirected to a pornsite featuring Emma Watson (too obviously faked IMO) but was able to access through Google Chrome.
Can now enjoy reading your posts again.

Ok, so far so good, hopefully no more redirecting.
I was redirected to various sites thrice (one was to a porn site). The week before last, my computer actually crashed soon after I tried to exit from some money venture site. 3 days ago, the same thing happened, and my laptop crashed once again. I lost all my files this time and the techie guy could not retrieve any!!! Anyhow, I think I was more distraught that I could not read your blogs (and the comments!) more than the state of my laptop. But those were actually blessings in disguise as my hubby replaced it with one I really, really like. So, my old one has joined Steve Jobs and as a tribute and thanks to your hackers, I got one SJ would love!

MM – Thank you for the diligent work. I must admit I stopped browsing your site due to these attacks but your techies seemed to have solved the problem. No more pop-ups now. I now will enjoy reading your blogs once again.
Maybe I’ll switch to firefox then. I haven’t gone on for a couple weeks because using internet explorer takes to a virus alert. Decided to try today on firefox.

The site was blocked for a few weeks in the office, but now I can access it.
Thank God :) It actually crashed my computer. That part wasn’t so terrible. The bad thing was the Marketmanila withdrawal :) Not being able to look for recipe’s on my most reliable source drove me nuts for awhile. It’s all good now though :)
