The Teen’s indiegogo effort raised at total of $16,267 or roughly PHP708,000 in seven days. It has been an amazing experience for her, and I doubt she will have the chance to thank each of the 224 donors face-to-face, as many are actually unknown to her and her friends, some of whom are marketmanila.com readers I think… So please click on this link to a THANK YOU VIDEO she has prepared, and know that it comes with the deepest of gratitude. She continues to be heavily involved in the relief efforts and it has been a truly enlightening experience.

Thank you teen for making my modest contribution possible and meaningful. In thinking through it all, I came to realize that the contribution was the easy part, the logistics of orgainizing and distributing these goods is mind boggling and a big thanks to those who put their lives on hold, sort through goods, amass meals, drive, hand out and the myriad of other tasks it takes to complete a relief effort. I also came to realize that good governance begins at this level, the grass roots level. Thank you teen, dad, coworkers and all, for your willingness to invest in your country and its people. Lets hope the lessons learned will help build a brighter future for all.
